THE INFORMATION THAT WE HOLD ABOUT YOU
In order that we can provide our services to you, we will collect, store and use some or all of the following categories of personal information about you depending on your instructions and the services we provide:

SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA
The law requires that we need to have further justification for collecting, storing and using Sensitive Personal Data as described above. We do not collect Sensitive Personal Data.
Automated decision-making takes place when an electronic system uses personal information to make a decision without human intervention.
We do not envisage that any decisions will be taken about you using automated means, however, we will notify you in writing if this position changes.
We may have to share your personal data with third parties, including our suppliers and other entities within Shield Security Services LTD.

Where you have a contract for the provision of services with us, we currently retain personal data for a period of 7 years from the termination of the agreement between us and you.
Where you have obtained a quotation from us either via our website, telephone, through our chat online facility or in person in and have not subsequently entered into a contract for the provision of services with us, we shall retain your personal data for a period of no longer than 6 months from the last point at which you communicated with us either by our website, telephone, through our online chat facility.
Where we are in ongoing communication with you regarding your quotation, we will retain your data indefinitely.
In some circumstances, we may anonymise your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you. Once you are no longer a client of the firm we will retain and securely destroy your personal information in accordance with our data retention policy.

The __utma Google Analytics Cookie
This cookie is what’s called a “persistent” cookie, as in, it never expires (technically, it does expire…in the year 2038…but for the sake of explanation, let’s pretend that it never expires, ever). This cookie keeps track of the number of times a visitor has been to the site pertaining to the cookie, when their first visit was, and when their last visit occurred. Google Analytics uses the information from this cookie to calculate things like Days and Visits to purchase.
The __utmb and __utmc Google Analytics Cookies
The B and C cookies are brothers, working together to calculate how long a visit takes. __utmb takes a timestamp of the exact moment in time when a visitor enters a site, while __utmc takes a timestamp of the exact moment in time when a visitor leaves a site. __utmb expires at the end of the session. __utmc waits 30 minutes, and then it expires. You see, __utmc has no way of knowing when a user closes their browser or leaves a website, so it waits 30 minutes for another pageview to happen, and if it doesn’t, it expires.
The __utmt Google Analytics Cookie
It is used to throttle the request rate for the service – limiting the collection of data on high 2 traffic sites. It expires after 10 minutes
The __utmz Google Analytics Cookie
Mr. __utmz keeps track of where the visitor came from, what search engine you used, what link you clicked on, what keyword you used, and where they were in the world when you accessed a website. It expires in 15,768,000 seconds – or, in 6 months. This cookie is how Google Analytics knows to whom and to what source / medium / keyword to assign the credit for a Goal Conversion or an Ecommerce Transaction. __utmz also lets you edit its length with a simple customization to the Google Analytics Tracking code.
